The 5 training sessions, in numbers
A total of 38 club families, 19 club managers, 16 club trainers and 5 members of the SantCugatCreix Knowledge Area have participated in these 5 training sessions.
The SportBoard App, which will monitor the two ongoing projects of SantCugatCreix, the SportBoard and Sonar Injuries, is now available in the Apple and Google stores.
The app is the result of the European project SportBoard, led by SantCugatCreix in consortium with Blanquerna Universitat Ramon Llull, the City Council of Modena and the Anderlini sports cooperative of Modena.
Through the app, access to the Ethics Monitoring System and Sonar Injuries injury registration tools is provided, as well as a news posting wall, access to the SportBoard behavioral observatory and a powerful system of multimedia notifications to users.
For the Ethics Monitoring System, the Faculty of Psychology, Education and Sport Sciences Blanquerna URL has prepared a framework of 352 indicators of behaviors, situations or behaviors that occur in the sports field, whether they come from athletes , families, coaches, managers or sports managers in both their positive and negative versions.
All these indicators are distributed in 4 primary blocks. Each block contains the necessary indicators to follow or describe the situations derived from the positive or negative behaviors observed in sport.
Block _1: RESPECT – Treat yourself and others respectfully. This blog brings together behaviors derived from: respect for the environment, solidarity, discrimination and harassment/abuse.
Block _2: FAIR GAME- Honest and correct behavior of athletes, opponents, referees and the public. This blog brings together behaviors derived from: attitude, responsibility, violence and cheating.
Block _3: HEALTHY SPORT – Care and establishment of a healthy sport. This blog gathers behaviors derived from: doping, injury control and limit control.
Block _4: QUALITY- Quality in practice and in the management of sports resources / facilities. This blog brings together situations arising from: control of sports equipment or resources and use of sports equipment or resources.
The app will be open to managers, technical staff, facility janitors, sports technicians, families and athletes of SantCugatCreix clubs or affiliated clubs, also by the Sant Cugat Town Council or other interested administrations.
Sonar Injuries, injury prevention for athletes
As for the Sonar Injuries (injury register), the app gives access to the system, developed by the University of Vic Central University of Catalonia, of injury surveillance (ISS) exclusively for technicians and sports managers of the entities. General information on awareness content on injury prevention for athletes and parents will arrive through the notification system to registered users.
The use of the app begins in a pilot phase in which the main objectives are to adjust the operation and contents to the necessary reality and to spread its usefulness to other administrations/cities willing to do an internal pilot.
